James Moore & Co, P.L. is expanding our HR Solutions team! We areseeking a Recruiting Coordinator who will work in conjunction with the Talent Acquisition Specialist and directly with hiring managers to execute a firm-wide campus recruiting strategy to attract and recruit top talent. In addition, this position will aide in the recruitment of all administrative positions across the firm as well as provide support as needed to the Firm's internal HR department.
IN ADDITION, THIS POSITION IS RESPONSIBLE FOR:
- Serve as a "Brand Ambassador" to build the James Moore brand at targeted schools.
- Build relationships and connect with candidates, contacts, referral channels and diverse collegiate organizations in person or through virtual channels (video chat, social media).
- Participate in the planning process of the firm's campus presence.
- Coordinate and attend college and community recruiting events with a focus on attracting students into the accounting profession.
- Coordinate and attend campus recruiting events, job fairs, information sessions, leadership summits, guest lecture, professional and other associations to engage candidates.
- Work collaboratively with marketing on creative strategies that increase brand awareness and candidate interest.
- Screen resumes and track applicants through HRIS workflow and reporting.
- Conduct initial phone/video screenings, and assess talent and analyze potential candidates for knowledge, skills, ability and cultural fit.
- Schedule hiring team interviews and contribute to the assessment and final selection of candidates.
- Coordinate the pre-hire process including initial documents, reference checks, and background screening.
- Plan and execute new hire orientation along with HR and other personnel.
- Assure a high-quality experience for candidates from the application stage through onboarding.
- Complete other duties as assigned to support internal and external human resources staff.
DESIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing, Communication, Psychology, or a related program or work experience that may substitute for a degree.
- Two years' experience working in an HR role that included full-cycle recruiting responsibilities.
- Two years' experience in a campus recruiting role preferred.
- Strong computer skills including proficiency in Excel, Word, Zoom and expert level skills in Outlook Calendar.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, emotional intelligence, and a positive attitude.
- High degree of initiative with the ability to think proactively and problem-solve.
- Ability to clearly articulate firm values and opportunities and to build dynamic connections.
- Thrive and adapt to meet competing priorities in a fast-paced, deadline-oriented environment.
- Ability to travel as needed to Firm office locations and recruiting events as necessary.
