James Oro is a fashion eyewear start-up with massive momentum based in the Arts District in Downtown Los Angeles. Our eyewear has recently been seen on celebrities like Billie Eilish, Cardi B, & Young Thug. We are a youthful small, but scaling team that is passionate about fashion and the culture of today. We're looking for hard working individuals that are willing to go the extra mile and manage a variety of operational tasks as we continue to grow. This is a massive opportunity for someone with limited experience to get a change to take the reins and see behind the scenes of a scaling ecommerce fashion company. Everday is exciting and different at our office, we need someone who can thrive in this fast paced environment. 

Responsibilities:

• Plan and buy inventory working closely with design team and CEO to ensure timelines are met.
• Assist design team in scheduling drops in line with production timeline.
• Manage supply chain communications with manufacturing partners, freight forwarder and 3PL to ensure production arrives on schedule.
• Work closely with CEO to develop predictive models on what buy quantities should be for next 12-18 months
• Map early stage success factors to make buy / not-buy decisions, working closely with our performance marketing team to capture early indicators
• Analyze sell through rates, inventory turn, and fiscal projections to determine appropriate purchasing cadence and quantities
• Identify and analyze market trends to predict shifts in consumer buying behavior
• Collaborate with CEO to identify systems that can be improved throughout the company
• Evaluate overall company performance by gathering, analyzing and interpreting data and metrics

Qualifications:

• 2-4 years of experience in an operational role preferably at e-commerce/DTC company
• At minimum, a Bachelor's degree is required, preferably in marketing, business management or business operations.
• Experience & genuine interest in fashion is a plus
• Highly detailed, organized, and structured problem solver
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Fast-paced learner and self-starter, comfortable operating in a startup environment
