Job Description

Jane is currently seeking an intern in Seller Development to oversee our Seller Deals Program.  You will be responsible for scheduling and inputting data for seller deals.  Seller Development works closely with our vendors in maintaining seller relationships and overseeing their development in our marketplace. This position involves building their deals and working with the merchandising team to schedule and plan deals according to our calendar.  As the Seller Development Intern you will be managing the deal submissions of individual accounts and identifying points of improvement in the process.

Responsibilities: 

• Scheduling sellers' deals and inputting all data into the system
• Researching past sales history to improve future deal success
• Responding quickly and efficiently to vendor inquiries
• Calendar management
• Selecting suitable deals based on product, price, quality, and customer needs
• Negotiating pricing and inventory efficiently with vendors
• Stay up to date on evolving trends, new products, and competition
• Reviewing incoming samples of product to ensure quality standards are met
• Analyzing data to determine seasonal selling trends
