We're looking for a friendly, responsible, and detail-oriented Day Porter to help maintain a clean and welcoming environment for our patients, their families, and our staff.
As a Day Porter, you will play a key role in shaping the patient's experience from the moment they walk through the door. By maintaining the cleanliness and overall appearance of our facility, you will ensure a safe and pleasant environment for both employees and patients. A clean and well maintained space directly contributes to the comfort and satisfaction of every patient, making a positive impact on their overall experience at our practice.
General Cleanliness: Ensure the office and patient waiting areas are clean, organized, and welcoming at all times. This includes sweeping, mopping, dusting, and disinfecting high-touch surfaces.
**Sanitation of Bathrooms: **Ensure bathrooms are consistently sanitized, stocked with necessary supplies, and maintained in excellent condition. ****
Restocking Supplies and Laundry : Monitor inventory of cleaning supplies (e.g., paper towels, soap, etc.), and restock as needed. Daily assisting for Laundry needs, including washing, drying, hanging lab coats
Waste Management: Properly dispose of trash and recycling, ensuring all areas remain clutter-free and hygienic
Facility Maintenance: Help with minor repairs, notify supervisors about any maintenance or equipment needs, and assist with the upkeep of office aesthetics.
Sterilization of Dental Instruments: Properly clean, sterilize, and organize dental tools and equipment in accordance with safety protocols and industry standards.
Reliable: Must be dependable, punctual, and take pride in maintaining cleanliness.
Experience: Previous experience in cleaning, maintenance, or janitorial services is a plus. A strong work ethic and attention to detail are key.
Team-Oriented: Ability to work effectively with a variety of personalities and contribute positively to a team-based environment.
Positive Attitude: A friendly, professional demeanor, especially when interacting with children and families.
Physical Requirements: Ability to stand, bend, lift up to 25 lbs, and perform physical tasks for extended periods.
