We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Day Porter to join our team. The Day Porter will be crucial in maintaining cleanliness and orderliness in various facilities, ensuring a welcoming environment for all visitors and staff. This position requires a proactive individual who can handle multiple tasks efficiently while adhering to safety and cleanliness standards.
Duties
To maintain cleanliness in designated areas, perform routine cleaning tasks, including restrooms, sweeping, mopping, dusting, blowing debris, picking up dog droppings, and cleaning the BBQs
Conducted facilities maintenance tasks such as minor repairs and equipment upkeep.
Provide custodial services in commercial settings, ensuring all areas meet cleanliness standards.
Respond promptly to any cleaning requests or emergencies throughout the facility/Campus.
Regularly inspect facilities for maintenance needs and report issues to management.
ABLE TO WORK OUTSIDE. RAIN OR SHINE.
Requirements
Previous experience in custodial or commercial cleaning is preferred, with 2-3 years of experience.
Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Ability to perform physical tasks, including lifting, bending, walking, and standing for extended periods.
Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
Strong communication skills and the ability to work well independently and as part of a team.
Able to cover when someone is sick during the weekdays.
