About the Role:

Paramount Facilities & Solutions is looking for a dependable and hardworking Janitor/Floater to join our team in Columbus, GA! This is a great opportunity for someone who takes pride in keeping spaces clean, safe, and welcoming while enjoying variety in their daily work across multiple locations or areas.

Responsibilities:

Perform routine janitorial duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and dusting across assigned areas

Clean and sanitize restrooms, break rooms, common areas, and workspaces to maintain health and safety standards

Float between multiple facilities or zones as needed to provide coverage and support

Empty trash receptacles and ensure proper waste disposal throughout the facility

Restock supplies such as paper towels, soap, and other janitorial consumables

Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or supply shortages to supervisors promptly

Follow cleaning schedules, checklists, and facility-specific protocols consistently

Requirements:

Prior janitorial, custodial, or facilities maintenance experience preferred

Ability to work independently and manage time effectively across multiple areas

Reliable, punctual, and detail-oriented with a strong work ethic

Physical ability to stand, bend, and lift up to 30+ lbs throughout a shift

Familiarity with cleaning chemicals, equipment, and safety procedures (OSHA knowledge a plus)

Flexible availability including potential evenings, weekends, or varying shifts

Strong communication skills and a team-first attitude
