  • Responsibilities

    DESCRIPTION

    As a Janitor, you will provide janitorial/custodial services for government building located in Louisville, Kentucky. including the following tasks:

    • Adhering to cleaning schedules (daily, weekly, monthly, and/or yearly) for identified buildings, to include bathrooms, common areas, offices, outside perimeter areas, etc.
    • Keeping assigned work areas in a clean and orderly condition
    • Performing heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning floors and shampooing rugs
    • Organizing custodial closets and spaces
    • Maintaining working condition of cleaning equipment
    • Performing other duties as assigned

    DUTIES

    • Space Cleaning
    • Emptying Waste & Recycling Containers
    • Low Area Cleaning – Maximum height of 7'-0” above floor level
    • Special Cleaning – Includes fountains, sinks, kitchens, & coffee messes
    • High Area Cleaning – Above 7'-0” from floor level
    • Interior & Exterior Window Cleaning
    • Window Blinds Cleaning
    • Sweeping/Dust Mopping
    • Vacuuming Carpets & Rugs
    • Cleaning Walk-off Mats
    • Spray Cleaning & Buffing
    • Damp Mopping
    • Stripping & Rewaxing
    • Carpet and Rug Deep & Spot Cleaning
    • Restroom Cleaning – Includes filling up supplies
    • Perimeter Services – Remove debris & empty waste containers

    SCHEDULE

    • Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays 8 am to 1 pm (15 hours)

    OTHER REQUIREMENTS

    • Must be authorized to work in the US
    • Must pass a pre-employment drug test
    • Must pass a pre-employment background check
    • No remote work options

    BENEFITS

    Cash Health and Welfare benefit of $4.93 per hour.
