You’ll also be responsible for the cleanliness of our entire facility. Responsibilities: • Providing assistance as needed to the Veterinary Technician • Perform animal handling and restraint with patience and confidence to assist with feeding, cleaning, and medical needs • Maintain the cleanliness of kennels, cages, and common areas to promote a healthy environment for pets • Clean the entire hospital, which includes vacuuming, mopping, dusting, and restocking Qualifications: • Prior experience with animal restraint is a plus • Prior experience in cleaning is a requirement • Ability to work on your feet for long periods of time, and the ability to lift 40lbs. safely • Able to work on weekends and during the night - this position is part-time, offering around 20 hours per week. Hours are Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, and Sunday from 2 am-8 am • Excellent customer service skills to communicate professionally with clients and team members • Animal handling and care skills rooted in compassion, patience, and attention to detail Compensation: $13 - $15 hourly
