Salary/Wage: Starting at $20.29/hr
Schedule: Monday – Friday / 5:30PM to 2:00AM

Job Description
Janitors provide general cleaning, maintenance, inspection, and related tasks for our client. Regular inspections of the premises will be performed at intervals determined by the client. Our client will provide monthly written reports detailing the status of the cleaning, maintenance, and other services rendered. Duties and responsibilities include and are not limited to the following:
· Performs general cleaning and janitorial duties in the common areas, offices and conference rooms.
· Assists in cleaning and sanitizing restrooms and cafeteria.
· Maintains a neat and orderly janitors’ room; ensures cleaning and maintenance supplies are stocked.
· Assists in examining for safety hazards; reports deficiencies to manager.
· Correct any reported deficiencies of service
· Cooperate to complete any incident report for any incidents
· Comply with each Location’s particular security rules, regulations, and instructions
· Cooperate in any investigation relating to the theft, loss, or violation of the client’s policies
· Report any keys issues that are lost or stolen.
· Maintain security procedures to ensure the safety of client property.
· Safeguard all sensitive information.
· Use central vacuum system and be responsible for emptying and cleaning it as required.
· Ensure chemicals used conform to the workplace Hazardous Materials Information System (“W.H.M.I.S”) regulations and for the safe and appropriate use and disposal of any chemicals.
· Work in compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local laws, including Washington State law
· Other duties and responsibilities within the scope of this job description, as needed
· Performs other related duties within the scope of the job as assigned.
Qualifications
· Preferred but not required: High school diploma or GED.
· Preferred but not required: Previous janitorial or custodial experience.
· Ability to follow instructions and work independently.
· Basic knowledge of cleaning chemicals, equipment, and techniques.
· Good communication skills and the ability to work as part of a team.
· Physical stamina to perform tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
· Ability to pass a background check.
· Eligibility to work in the United States.
· Availability to work flexible hours, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
· Reliable transportation to job locations.
Physical Requirements
· Ability to lift and carry heavy objects, typically up to 50 lbs.
· Stamina to stand, walk, and move for extended periods.
· Ability to bend, kneel, crouch, and reach overhead frequently.
· Manual dexterity to operate cleaning equipment and tools.
· Tolerance to exposure to cleaning chemicals and varying temperatures.
· Ability to perform repetitive tasks with attention to detail.
· Good vision and hand-eye coordination for detailed cleaning tasks.
