Job Summary

We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Traveling Janitor to service multiple facilities per night. This position requires traveling to up to five locations per shift and performing thorough janitorial and cleaning duties at each site. The ideal candidate takes pride in their work, follows cleaning checklists closely, and maintains consistent quality across all locations.

Responsibilities

Travel to assigned locations each night (up to five facilities per shift)

Perform detailed janitorial cleaning, including but not limited to:

Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors

Dusting surfaces, fixtures, and vents

Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms

Emptying trash and replacing liners

Cleaning breakrooms, offices, and common areas

Spot cleaning walls, doors, and high-touch surfaces

Follow site-specific cleaning checklists and company standards

Properly use and care for cleaning chemicals, tools, and equipment

Report maintenance issues, damages, or supply needs promptly

Ensure facilities are left clean, secure, and presentable before departure

Maintain professionalism and discretion at all client locations

Requirements

Must have reliable personal transportation

Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Ability to travel between multiple locations nightly

Strong attention to detail and time management skills

Ability to work independently with minimal supervision

Physically able to stand, bend, lift, and perform repetitive tasks

Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred but not required

Compensation & Benefits

Competitive hourly pay (based on experience) 15th of every month

$50 weekly gas card provided to assist with travel expenses
