    Janitorial Area Supervisor (Full-Time)

    $19/hour + Paid Travel Time

    Office Pride of Rapid City is seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Area Supervisor to oversee cleaning operations and support our growing team. This is a full-time leadership position for someone who takes pride in quality, accountability, and mentoring others.

    As a Janitorial Area Supervisor, you will manage and perform cleaning duties, train new employees, and ensure all assigned facilities consistently meet Office Pride quality and safety standards. You will act as a mentor and role model, helping team members uphold the values of our company.

    Schedule: Late afternoons and evenings Status: Full-Time

    Position Details & Benefits

    $19.00 per hour, paid bi-weekly

    Paid travel time

    Up to 40 hours per week

    Job Responsibilities

    Oversee nightly cleaning operations at assigned facilities

    Train, support, and mentor new employees

    Ensure proper alarm/disarm procedures and accurate reporting of any dropped alarms

    Train employees on timekeeping systems and report issues to the office

    Provide re-training and constructive feedback when needed

    Submit daily reports to the office by 1:00 PM for the previous shift

    Cross-train staff to ensure building coverage when needed

    Monitor equipment and supplies; report shortages or issues

    Ensure compliance with Office Pride policies, procedures, and dress code

    Enforce safety and security standards at all times

    Report safety concerns immediately

    Assist with customer concern follow-up in coordination with the office

    Complete monthly building inspections and provide feedback

    Perform additional duties as assigned

    Job Qualifications

    Ability to communicate in English

    Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills

    Dependable, detail-oriented, and quality-focused

    Able to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment

    Comfortable working independently and as part of a team

    Demonstrates strong work ethic and responsibility

    Physically able to:

    Lift up to 35 lbs

    Stand and move throughout entire shift

    Walk, bend, stoop, twist, reach, kneel, crouch, push, and pull

    Must pass a criminal background check

    Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required
