Part-Time Night Shift Janitor/Custodian (varied shifts)

Schedules:

Claremont Gym Location (Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Saturday)

9:30 p.m. - 1:30 a.m. (4 hours per night)

Saturday (7:30 p.m. to 11:30 p.m.)

Compensation: $17.00 per hour

Position Overview: We are seeking a dedicated janitor or custodian to maintain cleanliness and order in our Claremont gym and Upland office. This role involves cleaning, maintenance, and security tasks to ensure the facilities are welcoming and well-kept. Flexibility to work weekends is essential, along with a willingness to work in both locations.

Key Responsibilities:

Clean and supply designated areas, including dusting, sweeping, vacuuming, mopping, cleaning restrooms and showers, and maintaining glass surfaces.

Perform heavy cleaning tasks and special projects as needed.

Report any deficiencies or repair needs to management.

Stock and manage supply rooms.

Collaborate effectively as part of a team.

Adhere to all health and safety regulations.

Qualifications:

Proven experience as a janitor or in a similar role.

Knowledge of cleaning chemicals and supplies.

Familiarity with Safety Data Sheets.

Strong integrity and ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Physical ability to perform duties, including reaching, crouching, bending, walking, lifting, and pushing.
