We are seeking a reliable, detail-oriented Janitorial Technician to support cleanliness and organization at our two pediatric clinic locations in Richmond and Winchester. This role is responsible for maintaining a safe, sanitary, and welcoming environment for both patients and staff by performing routine cleaning and responding to as-needed cleaning tasks throughout the day. The position will require travel between the two clinics for daily cleaning responsibilities.

Schedule: Monday–Friday, 12:00 PM – 8:00 PM

(Clinic hours are 8:00 AM – 6:30 PM; this position includes after-hours cleaning responsibilities)

Key Responsibilities:

Travel between both clinic locations to complete daily cleaning tasks

Clean and sanitize patient rooms, common areas, and high-touch surfaces

Sweep and mop floors throughout the clinics

Clean and restock restrooms (toilet paper, paper towels, soap, etc.)

Sanitize gym equipment, therapy/play equipment, and toys regularly

Take out trash and medical waste (per guidelines)

Perform deeper cleaning of rooms and spaces after clinic hours

Respond to spills or urgent cleaning needs during operating hours

Maintain cleaning supplies and notify management when restocking is needed

Follow all health, safety, and sanitation protocols

Qualifications:

Prior janitorial or cleaning experience preferred, especially in healthcare settings

Ability to work independently and manage time efficiently across two locations

Reliable transportation required

Strong attention to detail and commitment to cleanliness

Ability to perform physical tasks (standing, bending, lifting, etc.)

Dependability and being punctual are a must

Must be able to pass a background check

Additional Notes: This role is essential to maintaining a high standard of cleanliness and infection control across both clinics. Flexibility and responsiveness to the needs of a busy healthcare environment are key to success in this position.
