Location: Gardena, CA (Hybrid – 2–3 days in office)
Employment Type: Full-time or Part-time (20–40 hours/week), Non-Exempt
Compensation: $65,000 – $80,000 (annualized, depending on experience)
We are a Japanese accounting firm seeking a Japanese-English bilingual Accounting or Tax Staff “Experienced” to join our team. This role is ideal for candidates with 1–3 years of experience, as well as those with an accounting background who are interested in further developing their career in accounting and/or tax, including pursuing a CPA in the future.
Responsibilities
Support accounting and/or tax-related services for clients
Assist with bookkeeping, general ledger, and reconciliations
Support preparation of financial statements and reports
Assist with tax preparation and related documentation (if applicable)
Communicate with clients via email and other correspondence
Maintain accurate records and ensure data integrity
Collaborate with team members to support daily operations
Qualifications
1–3 years of accounting and/or tax experience
Experience in public accounting, corporate accounting, bookkeeping, or similar roles (In-house accounting experience is also acceptable)
Accounting major preferred, or candidates who are interested in pursuing a CPA license
Familiarity with accounting software is a plus
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
Language Requirement
