Position Overview
We are currently seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Inside Sales Supervisor to lead a team and support the daily operations of our growing U.S. business. This role goes beyond customer service—it requires strong supervisory experience, advanced analytical skills, and the ability to effectively navigate cross-cultural communication, particularly with Japanese partners.
You will oversee a team of 10 staff members, manage order processing, and work closely with vendors, internal departments, and customers. You’ll play a key role in supporting our business relationships in both the U.S. and Japan.
Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support a team of 10 inside sales staff to ensure smooth daily operations
Ensure timely processing of customer orders and follow-up on delivery
Prepare and manage customer quotations, negotiate pricing, and resolve pricing discrepancies
Approve sales invoices up to $10,000
Generate purchase orders for vendors based on incoming customer orders
Coordinate with team members to clean up and close old orders
Track and analyze KPIs, quote activity, and order volume trends
Collaborate with the Accounting team to monitor inventory aging and analyze AR collections
Create and summarize reports for internal teams and management
Communicate regularly with U.S. customers and Japanese counterparts at HQ
Support cross-department collaboration and assist with special projects
Ensure accurate data handling with a strong focus on detail and process accuracy
Interpret and apply documentation such as SOPs, specifications, and internal procedures
Ideal Candidate Profile
5–10 years of experience in a similar inside sales, operations, or supervisory role
Proven leadership skills with experience overseeing a team
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
A team player with a “can-do” attitude and a proactive, solution-oriented mindset
Strong attention to detail and critical thinking ability across multi-step workflows
Comfortable working with large data sets and developing performance insights
Ability to summarize findings in clear, concise reports
Cross-cultural awareness and understanding of Japanese business practices
Manufacturing experience preferred (automotive industry experience not required)
Flexible, dependable, and able to respond to urgent customer needs
Experience in supporting both internal staff and external clients
