POSITION SUMMARY
Help build and develop a pipeline of school bus drivers for Jarnik Buses, Inc. and Peoples Transportation Services.. In this role you will be responsible for recruiting new bus drivers in order to achieve long and short-term recruiting goals for our companies.
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform duties and responsibilities satisfactorily.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and execute recruiting plans.
Participate in offsite recruiting such as job fairs and community event to engage potential candidates and maintain a flexible work schedule
Maintain excellent recordkeeping.
Network through contacts, trade groups, social media, and employees.
Proven candidate sourcing and relationship building skills.
Work closely with location manager(s) and trainer to confirm training, test dates, and start dates.
General knowledge of word, excel, and Microsoft Office
Effective oral and written communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal and coaching skills.
Ability to display great teamwork and teambuilding skills
Knowledge of social media including but not limited to Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Excellent organizational skills.
Excellent onboarding skills.
Creative with ability to seek out of the box solutions
Skills in database management and record keeping.
Ability to maintain the highly confidential nature of human resources work.
Must be able to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
LICENSING QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or GED
