Successful small accounting firm seeking an auditor for our audit and assurance team. Since 2009, Jason F. Clausen, P.C. has been committed to providing quality attestation and assurance services to its clients. We primarily service the industries of Professional Employer Organizations (PEOs), and Nonprofit Organizations (NPOs) toward their audit and review needs.

Jason F. Clausen, the firm’s President, has been a licensed CPA since 2000. Since 1997, he’s been active in both public accounting as a CPA and in corporate accounting filling in the role as controller for a national PEO.

Jason F. Clausen, P.C. is affiliated with several different professionals with expertise in a wide array of professional services including tax management, estate and trust planning and tax preparation, business valuation, and litigation support. By combining our expertise, experience and the team mentality of our staff, we assure that every client receives the close analysis and attention they deserve. Must possess a bachelor’s degree in accounting from a fully accredited four year institution, or equivalent employment and education with financial statement auditing experience. Should possess CPA license or is currently in process of obtaining the license in the near future.

The position entails the following:

• The ability to identify deficiencies in internal controls and compliance,
• The ability to effectively communicate the findings and conclusions so they can be easily understood,
• The ability to identify new business controls and procedures, when necessary,
• The ability to complete audit projects with quality and timeliness,
• The ability to manage multiple tasks and respond quickly,
• Prepare initial draft of audit reports,
• Microsoft Excel and Word skills.
• Must be very familiar with (GAAP).

You will be working under the supervision of our audit manager.

Salary commensurable with education and experience.
