Seeking a Full time Project Manager/ Estimator for a growing Electrical company based out of Santa Clara

SUMMARY Primary duties will include reading plans and performing take offs, generating quotes for customers and handling a high work volume. Close interaction with customers and vendors will be necessary. Due to the nature of this position, overtime will be required on occasion. RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE (BUT MAY NOT BE LIMITED TO) THE FOLLOWING:

• Perform quantity takeoffs and takeoff reports using Accubid Take off Software.
• Perform job walks as necessary to complete quotes, follow all safety rules outlined by customer while on job sites
• Price completed work packages as requested, Including gathering Close out docs.
• Analyze drawings, blueprints, survey reports and maps using engineering and design software.
• Maintain communication on status of all quotes.
• Partner with dispatcher to schedule work based on project start dates.
• Prepare and monitor all documents that are associated with the project (permits, certifications etc.)
• Consistently meet deadlines, pitch in where needed to help others.
• Ownership: total commitment to the success of the project, teammates and the company
• Able to work independently without supervision.

THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE WILL POSSESS MINIMUM 6 YEAR EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS IN THE FOLLOWING:

• Familiarity with Accubid Take Off program. *Must Have Electrical experince or understand the terminology
• Working knowledge of contracts, RFI's and change orders.
• Reading and interpreting Blue Prints, drawings and specifications.
• Excellent customer service skills.
• Construction Office Experience.
• Leadership skills.
• Integrity; take responsibility for mistakes and take them as an opportunity to improve. Mistakes are better corrected rather than being disguised.
• General math skills; multiplication, division, percentages, fractions, conversion of units of measure.
• Computer skills; Web navigation, document scanning, typing, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, Outlook).Minimum 1 year for Excel
• Excellent verbal, written communication and presentation skills - Bilingual (English & Spanish) a plus.
• Ability to work both as a team player and independently.
• Time management skills; able to prioritize responsibilities.
• Ability to handle stressful situations such as heavy/varying workload and order accuracy, know how to respond to a problem in a manner consistent with the Company’s interests.

• Must have valid California Driver License with a clean driving record.
