Jay Nolan Community Services is looking for an outgoing person with a sense of humor with a minimum of 1 year experience in providing Direct support to an individual whom has been diagnosed with Autism.
WE HAVE POSITIONS AVAILABLE THROUGH OUT LOS ANGELES COUNTY SUCH AS KOREA TOWN, MID CITY, MID WHILSHIRE, WESTLAKE, CENTRAL LA AND MORE . AS WELL AS GLENDALE, BURBANK, LOS FELIZ, ARCADIA & PASADENA

The schedules vary; usually after school, early evenings, & an occasional Saturday or Sunday and may be flexible to accommodate a college student's schedule.
Since the support to be provided is in the individual's home & community, the ideal candidate must be familiar with the individual's community resources & live in the general area.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES of the Community Peer Support Specialist are to teach all daily living skills, social interactions, self-help, & community safety & awareness skills.
QUALIFICATIONS:
Must pass a background check.
Thoughtful, caring, respectful & able to communicate (oral & written) effectively.
A valid driver’s license, current auto insurance, good driving record, reliable car & smart phone
are required.
