    Position Overview

    Our mission is to inspire 1 billion people to transform their lives. We do that through engaging, entertaining, and enlightening content that is relevant to, and resonates with our viewers, social media followers and our members. We are looking for a leader who can help shape our content direction and marketing efforts. You will own content direction and engagement for all social media outlets, analysis of results and leadership of the larger content creation team. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Serve as a strategic business partner and marketing leader to plan, develop and prepare effective, thoughtful and engaging content and campaigns that ensure timely and meaningful communications. You should be able to help inform our marketing decisions and have the data to back it up. 
    • Plan, develop and execute new content ideas for Instagram, Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, etc; own the content calendar and ensure it aligns with and supports overall company goals. 
    • Ensure brand consistency and strategic alignment across all platforms and outlets.
    • Test, monitor, and track for the best performing and most impactful content across all social media platforms and outlets. 
    • Share your analysis and findings with the larger social media and marketing team members to ensure further consistency and effectiveness of content.
    • Generate ideas for campaigns, launches, giveaways and partnerships on social media in collaboration with the team. 
    • Lead and develop a talented and global team of content creators.

     

    We are looking for you if you have:

    • Successful experience at a large social media or content company in a leadership position. You have owned content development that has been well received by millions of people, especially on social media.
    • The ability to step back and see the overall marketing landscape across platforms in the context of the world at large and ensure that content is germane, on brand, and engaging. 
    • A knack for storytelling and deep experience (3+ years) creating content for social media, not re-purposing other content. 
    • A willingness to work with other departments and independently, as well as comfort working within a remote, global organization, where colleagues are located around the world. 
    • A roll-up-your-sleeves attitude with a bias toward action, a self-starter who takes initiative rather than waiting for direction. You build strategy, then execute. 
    • A high level of comfort giving and receiving critical feedback from a small team with tight deadlines. You welcome the input and incorporate it quickly. 
    • A passion for bettering the world around you through your work and messaging.
