Highly trained Swim Instructor Summer 2022 Are you a highly trained swim instructor? Would you like to work for a successful family run swim school that has created miracles in people's lives for the last 42 years in San Jose? If yes, please read on! We offer private accelerated (1 on 1) lessons for all ages & all levels. Teaching 1 on 1 lessons is extremely rewarding because students progress 10 times faster than they do in a group and you develop a personal rapport since these are private lessons. Required Training/Knowledge: CPR/ AED. Swim Team Experience Previous Swim Instructor Experience & experience working with children. Proficient to advanced in freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, & butterfly. Can create excellent rapport with students & parents of diverse backgrounds. Preferred Training/Knowledge: WSI (water safety instructor). First-Aid. Lifeguard training. Experience teaching various ages and levels (beg to advanced), including adults & swim team level. Knows all 6 strokes (freestyle, backstroke, breaststroke, butterfly, sidestroke, and elementary backstroke). Experience working with special needs. Dates: May 31 or June 6th- August 4th or Aug 11th. Mostly Mon- Thurs and 2 Fridays (6/3 & 6/10). 1 week break from July 1-8th We have 3 job openings: 1. Part Time swim instructor from 2:50-7:10pm in Almaden & Blossom Valley positions (M-Th and above Fridays- only 2) for the above dates 2. Part-time Swim Instructor for June only from 2:50-7:10pm (see above dates) 3. Substitute swim instructors available upon request for either pool and from 9:20-1:10, but mostly from 2:50-7:10pm Location: 2 Locations in San Jose Location #1: Almaden (near Leland High School) 2:50-7:10pm Location #2: Blossom Valley near Pearl & Branham Ave 2:50-7:10pm Website is www.farnsworthswimschool.com.
