JOB TITLE

Python Developer /Lead

seeking a technical lead to oversee the technologies, tools, and software for the commercial workstream. This role will report directly to the head of the commercial scrum team.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following (other duties may be assigned):

Responsible for leading the architecture, planning, and execution of business-critical projects to enable a world-class commercial software suite.

Partner with the product management team and peers to define application roadmap to develop a scalable and effective application infrastructure and ensure deadlines are met.

Lead a team of engineers in the creation of high-quality software, maintain team morale, inspire and guide team members.

Create and implement risk mitigation processes and conduct security audits to determine weaknesses in applications.

Develop and implement standards and procedures to ensure high quality, scalable, and secure software. Ensure that all engineers within the team understand and follow those standards.

RELATED EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATIONAL REQUIREMENTS

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor's degree and 4+ years of related experience

OR equivalent combination of education and years of related experience

PREFERRED REQUIREMENTS:

Demonstrated ability to lead a team

Understanding of advanced object-oriented concepts, abstraction/inheritance, as well as experience with object-oriented languages.

HTML5/CSS experience, ability to work with and write custom CSS framework expansions is a plus.

PYTHON, REACT.JS,EXPERIENCE.

Must be a creative thinker and can recognize and solve problems by thinking outside the box.

Ability to discuss and debate all options to achieve the optimal solution.

Flexible, ability to adapt to develop solid solutions

Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Fun to work with and sense of humor appreciated.

Familiarity with building and using REST APIs

IDEAL PERSONAL CHARACTERISTICS:

Excellent organizational skills. Self-motivated with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.

Hands-on experience with all aspects of the project lifecycle, including detailed deliverable development as well as team management at all levels.

Able to communicate to technical and non-technical groups on a level suitable to the audience
