Jefferson Apartment Group (JAG) is a full-service real estate firm specializing in multifamily and mixed-use real estate investments through our acquisition, development, construction, and property management services. We are seeking a Software Solutions Associate to join our team in McLean, VA. This unique position touches every facet of multifamily rental operations and plays a key role in the company’s success and continued growth.

As the Software Solutions Associate you will maintain software systems for existing sites, manage compliance software for onsite vendors, create supplemental training guides, and support existing users. Delivery of proper employee training and staying up to date with new technology in our continuously changing industry are critical success factors for this role. Proficiency and adaptability with technology, appreciation for problem solving, a basic understanding of accounting principles, strong written and oral communication skills, and attention to detail are also important for success in this role.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• Provide help desk support for incoming property management related software requests.
• Assist with new property management software implementations.
• Create and update supplemental software and workflow training guides.
• Assist with training new/existing users on new and current property management software products.
• Work with third-party vendors/partners to support problem resolutions and training needs.
• Manage vendors compliance workflows across all software platforms.
• Support on-site property teams with vendor issues.
• Assist with management of SharePoint site, including library, folder, and permissions structures.
• Assist with new community set up and/or transition tasks.
• Ad Hoc Reporting/Tasks.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:

• Must have 1-3 years of property management experience.
• High School Diploma required.
• College Degree preferred.
• RealPage superuser experience preferred.
• Yardi experience a plus.
• Microsoft Office Suite proficiency required.
