    Jeffrey A. Miller Hospitality Group, based in Lansdowne, PA, seeks an experienced full-time Plant Forward Chef de Cuisine.

    This position allows chefs to apply their culinary skills, dedication, and creativity to craft exceptional food for our events. You'll develop exciting, innovative plant-forward menus for various occasions, including weddings, corporate galas, casual buffets, and other special events.

    Job title:

    Compensation and benefits:

    • $75-85K salary based on experience
    • Medical

    Schedule requirements:

    • Tuesday through Friday availability
    • Weekends as needed for events (usually Saturday)
    • Flexibility required to work nights, weekends, and holidays as needed

    Language requirements:

    • English
    • Spanish helpful

    Must have experience:

    • 4+ years of BOH kitchen experience with an emphasis on vegan/vegetarian cooking
    • A culinary education is preferred but not required
    • ServeSafe certified or can obtain certification within 90 days
    • Ordering, receiving, and inventory
    • Staff training and motivation
    • Menu creation
    • Follow written recipes and instructions
    • Ability to taste and test all kinds of food (except in cases of documented food allergies)
    • Must be able to work in a standing position
    • Must be able to reach, bend, stoop, and lift 50 lb
    • Must have a clean and valid driver's license
    • Comfortable driving a box truck (training provided)
    • Managing 5-10 employees
