Job Description

Established Certified Public Accounting firm providing accounting, tax and business consulting services in the Mid-Atlantic Region with offices in Fallston and North East Maryland. We are seeking a full time dedicated and self-motivated experienced CPA/EA tax professional with 3+ years of income tax preparation and review experience to join our team. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Preparation and/or review of individual and business tax returns including partnerships, corporations and trust returns

Preparation of accounting and tax workpapers including working with QuickBooks

Maintain client relationships with timely communication

Provide year-end tax planning and projections

Respond to IRS and State tax notices including researching tax laws and regulations

REQUIREMENTS:

Bachelor’s degree

Currently hold a CPA license or EA designation

Minimum 3 years experience in public accounting

Experience with multi-state tax filings

Strong technical accounting, tax and computer skills

Excellent organization and time management skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Must be a team player and have the ability to multi-task

Experience with Drake, Microsoft Office and QuickBooks a plus
