We understand and provide expert consultation on network and weapons systems acquisition programs, maintenance/modernization programs, and sustainment programs.

    We are currently seeking an Engineering Technician VI, to support our customer in Port Hueneme, CA. THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON CONTRACT AWARD. The ideal candidate will perform the following duties, as well as, possess the following skills and experiences:

    • Assemble electrical and electronic systems and prototypes
    • Build, calibrate, and repair electrical instruments or testing equipment
    • Identify solutions to technical design problems that arise during design, fabrication, and checkout of electrical systems
    • Inspect designs for quality control, report findings, and make recommendations
    • Draw diagrams and write specifications to clarify design details of experimental electronics units
    • Install and maintain electrical equipment and modify electrical prototypes, parts, and assemblies to correct problems. When testing systems set up test equipment and evaluate the performance of developmental parts, assemblies, or systems under simulated conditions. May analyze test information to assist in resolution of design-related problems.
    • Build or modify prototypes from rough sketches or plans
    • Assemble, test, and maintain circuitry or electronic components according to engineering instructions, technical manuals, and knowledge of electronics.
    • Redline technical data package (manuals, procedures, drawings…) to reflect changes in design or implementation.
    • Identify and resolve equipment malfunctions, working with manufacturers to resolve issues. Also calibrate and perform preventative maintenance on equipment and systems.
    • Posses understanding and ability to read drawings, schematic drawings, and engineering instructions for putting together electronics units, as well as write-up findings and solutions.

     

    Associates Degree preferred, High School Diploma or equivalent with an additional 8 years of experience.

     

    REQUIRED EDUCATION: An Associate’s Degree from an accredited college in an applicable discipline such as Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics or an equivalent education/experience combination

    SUBSTITUTION: two years of experience testing, troubleshooting, aligning, and adjusting of complete systems, equipment, or components utilizing a comprehensive knowledge of electronic theory and practical application with weapon system projects

     

    REQUIRED EXPERIENCE: 

    Eight or more years’ experience related to testing, troubleshooting, projects including Standard Missile, Surface Launched TOMAHAWK Cruise Missile, EvolvedSeaSparrow Missile, various Launching Systems, and associated equipment. Experience in:  Installing, operating, testing, and evaluating various systems, equipment, and components

     

    MUST BE ABLE TO OBTAIN AND MAINTAIN A SECRET SECURITY CLEARANCE. DUE TO THE SENSITIVITY OF CUSTOMER RELATED REQUIREMENTS, U.S. CITIZENSHIP IS REQUIRED.

    MINIMUM EDUCATION:

    • Graduate from an Accredited Program of Physical Therapist Assistant.

    • BLS certification – American Heart Association (Healthcare Provider) or American Red Cross (Healthcare Provider) required, must be current.
