Special Education or Mental Health Graduate or Undergraduate Student looking for flexible part-time job please contact me. I am looking for an energetic student who has experience with kids on the Autism Spectrum. Position includes picking up my 15 year old son with autism from his school program, taking him to enrichment classes/therapy and working with him out in the community--managing money and metrocard (once we go back to public trans), appropriate social interactions, going to park/playground, playing games/legos, meeting up with peers. Approximately 12-15 hours a week depending on pandemic factors. Neighborhood is West Village and surrounding area, Financial District. Must be interested in working with Special Needs, must have references, ability to walk a lot, possibly scooter, keep up with active teenager. Weekend hours a possibility if interested.
