US-CA-San Diego – A/P Specialist/Accounting Assistant

Status:  Full Time Employee.

Food Mfg. Company in South Bay is currently looking for an AP Clerk with at least 2 years experience in general accounting and payroll. The ideal candidate will have a working knowledge of reconciling vendor accounts, A/P invoice entry, GL coding and payment processing.

Must be a team player, able to interact with employees and assist department managers when needed.   The desired candidate will have the ability to multi-task and perform various assigned administrative tasks as required by management.

Required education and/or experience:

• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
• Ability to work with all levels of the organization: Operations, Supervisors and Managers
• Highly motivated self-starter with the ability to work independently under little supervision
• Some college accounting courses preferred
• Required Skills:  MS Office with emphasis on Excel and Word
