We’re seeking a sharp legal assistant for our paperless law firm who can help our clients gather the documents and information that we need to help them escape their financial problems through bankruptcy. Our team works to constantly improve our systems which we then customize to help each client get the best possible outcome for their unique situation. Responsibilities: • Work directly with clients in person and by phone, text, and email to gather documents and information • Review submitted information to identify follow-up questions and document requests based on those answers • Draft initial pleadings for attorney review with the client • Independently manage cases to quickly get clients prepared to file • Track time spent on each case in our web-based software • Participate in team meetings to improve processes and outcomes for our clients Qualifications: • Applicants must have excellent communication skills and organizational skills • Must be able to prioritize tasks with demanding deadlines and work in a fast-paced environment • Ability to comfortably use all Microsoft Office products • No specific education or experience requirements Compensation: $18 - $20 hourly
