    Jerry.ai is founded by serial entrepreneurs who previously built and scaled YourMechanic (Uber for car repair, the nations largest on-demand car repair company).     ABOUT THE ROLE:

    As our Public Relations Manager, you will be spearheading high impact PR and communications initiatives, developing and promoting our story, and leading media relations. Your mission - should you choose to accept it - is to catapult Jerry out of the insurtech stratosphere. If you are a formidable PR champion with a repertoire of big wins who's itching to take the lead on shaping the narrative of a fast-growing, hyper charged, hopefully and highly likely next unicorn, this could be for you.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Plan, implement, and manage all public relations programs
    • Develop media relations strategies, seeking high-level placements
    • Leverage existing media relationships and cultivate new contacts within the industry
    • Maintain an understanding of industry trends and create communications strategies and recommendations based on them
    • Monitor, analyze, and communicate PR results
    • Coordinate all public relations activities
    • Create and publish press releases
    • Manage media inquires

    REQUIREMENTS:

    • 3+ years experience in public relations required
    • Proven track record in seeking top tier media placements
    • Experience in a startup environment is a definite asset
    • Ability to thrive in high pressure, fast-paced and ambiguous environments
    • Excellent writing and editing skills
    • Strong network in US media industry
    • Social media experience is a plus, but not required
