Job Description
We are seeking a Full time Bookkeeper / Accounting person to become an integral part of our team! This position requires QuickBooks Desktop knowledge, a minimum of 1 year of Book Keeping background.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Daily book keeping including, balancing checkbooks and credit accounts for multi companies.
- Payroll - preparing and paying liabilities 940, 941, TWC.
- Journal entries booking depreciation and interest schedules
- A/P and A/R Invoicing and Billing
- Collections
- Various administrative office duties
- Prepare Financial Statements
- Preparing the books for an Accountant and banks.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bookkeeping Skills: Proficient in QBO navigation and various workflows including A/R, A/P, payroll, sales tax, financial reporting, 3rd party apps integration, and banking functions to name a few.
- Credentials/Certifications: QuickBooks Certification is preferred. book keeping certification
- Experience in data entry, billing, finance, or other related fields
- Knowledge of standard accounting principals
- Ability to prioritize and multitask
