    The JCRC Project Coordinator is responsible for working with the JCRC Executive Director, the JCRC Director of Community Outreach and Programming, and various lay leaders to schedule, organize, and execute JCRC programming. Responsibilities include, but are not limited to, coordination/planning of meetings and events; vendor management in coordination with the Federation’s Marketing team; importing registrations and volunteer information into our database, and more. Along with the administrative responsibilities, this position offers the opportunity to join the team in program development and coordination. Creativity, initiative and responsibility are encouraged. If desired, representing the JCRC at community meetings (both within the Jewish community and in the greater community) is an opportunity through the JCRC.REPORTS TO: Director of Community Outreach and Programming SUPERVISES: N/A ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:1. Assists the Executive Director and the Director in planning and executing programming.2. Schedules, organizes and plans all aspects of meetings and/or program events to include agendas, room set-up and minutes.3. Performs administrative tasks including: database input; queries, exports and reports; and maintains the JCRC calendar.4. Updates and maintains the legislative database.5. Supporting outreach to drive participation in JCRC activities, supporting Israel advocacy, etc.6. Conduct outreach to governmental agencies, legislative offices, non-profit corporate partners and community organizations.7. Performs other duties as assigned.MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Education: Bachelor’s degree required. Experience: Two plus years related experience in administrative work and/or project management.Other Requirements: • Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs. • Ability to organize, monitor, and track numerous ongoing and one-time activities, events and projects in a fast-paced environment. • Some database experience would be helpful.• Excellent communication skills in person, on the phone and in writing. • Independent judgment is required to plan, prioritize and organize a diversified workload.• Fosters and maintains effective, collaborative relationships with the staff and community stakeholders.• Willingness to learn and implement new programs.• Strong attention to detail is required.• Initiative and the ability to solve problems independently. • Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment and handle stress.• Knowledge of internet and social media applications is helpful. Tech savvy.• Knowledge of the organized Jewish community and Israel related issues is preferred.• Experience with politics, government and/or community relations is desired. • Ability to be non-partisan is required.• A positive attitude. ADDITIONAL JOB INFORMATIONPosition Type: This is a part time, non-exempt level position. It does not qualify for benefits. This position is supported/funded by a grant.Working Conditions: Mental Demands: Ability to communicate effectively (verbal and written); interpret policies, procedures and data; maintain emotional control under stress. Physical Demands/Environmental Factors: Must be physically able to operate computers and office equipment; occasional bending, reaching, squatting, kneeling, and twisting; constant walking, speaking and listening; frequent sitting and maintaining close visual attention to the computer; occasional lifting up to 50 lbs.
