    Job Description

     JOB PURPOSE:

    To support the sales department’s efforts to grow revenue on JewishJournal.com and The Jewish Journal’s email lists.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    ·       Establish, develop, and maintain positive business relationships with advertising partners.

    ·       Prospect, develop leads, and close deals with advertising partners for The Jewish Journal’s email lists and website impressions.

    ·       Coordinate all sales with appropriate team members to ensure The Jewish Journal meets obligations to client.

    ·       Stay on top of industry trends and developments as it could relate to any aspect of Company’s revenue generated from email, ensuring that Company has explored all meaningful methods of monetizing its email lists.

    ·       Provide weekly and monthly reporting to Director, including but not limited to new sales, projected revenue, hot leads, and creative development projects.

    EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS:

    ·       1+ year digital sales experience

    ·       Excited to sell web and email

    ·       Outstanding selling, communication, and negotiation skills

    ·       Can create and deliver custom presentations tailored to the partner’s needs

    ·       Experienced and confident with spreadsheets

    ·       Read, speak, and write English

    ·       Interact with clients and team members in a positive, productive, and respectful manner

    ·       Demonstrate ability to work independently and as a member of a team
