Large Refrigerated trailer company located in Cranbury, New Jersey with a fleet of over 600 refrigerated trailers is seeking a full-time Shop Manager. Since 1967, our family-owned business has been supplying quality, affordable refrigerated trailers to a wide range of businesses in the Northeast and Middle Atlantic states, meeting and exceeding the needs of its customers with reliable, top-quality services.

Qualifications:

Managerial Shop Experience with ability to manage employees and time sensitive workloads

Familiar and/or Certified with Trailers and Thermo-King/ Carrier refrigeration units

Strong Computer Skills

Responsibilities:

Manage and schedule work for 10 employees, including outside service calls.

Handle all service and repair requests from customers and sales department.

Work with Sales department to coordinate pickup, delivery and readiness of trailers for existing and new customers.

Work effectively with a team, assisting other personnel as necessary to ensure all tasks are completed in a timely manner

Work with the shop manager at our second location to coordinate all efforts.

Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to determine best practices for repair work and assess downtime

Ability to work independently

Clean Driving record and valid driver’s license
