Job Description

We are looking for a Bookkeeper Accountant to join our team! You will be responsible for preparing and analyzing financial records for our company. 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assistant to Financial Controller
• Account Receivable 
• Maintain bookkeeping databases and spreadsheets, updating information as needed
• Communicate with previous clients and customers to request payment and arrange payment.
• Collect payment from customers and accurately record it into the system
• Create reports and balance sheets that document overall profits and losses
• Update client accounts based on payment or contact information
• Payroll
• Managing accounts payable using accounting software and other programs 
• Handling accounts payable for separate entities and vendors 
• Analyzing workflow processes 
• Establishing and maintaining relationships with new and existing vendors 
• Ensuring bills and payroll are paid in a timely and accurate manner while adhering to departmental procedures 
• Processing due invoices for payments 
• Comparing purchase orders, prices, terms of payment and other charges
• Processing transactions and performing accounting duties such as account maintenance, recording entries and reconciling books of accounts

​QUALIFICATIONS:

• COMMUNICATION: Developed written and verbal communication skills are necessary when working as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Account receivable specialists will often communicate with clients, requesting payment or setting up payment.
• PROJECT MANAGEMENT: Strong project management skills are useful as an Accounts Receivable Specialist as they are often managing multiple projects at one time.
• ORGANIZATION: Organizational skills are crucial as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. The ability to closely pay attention to detail will ensure that records and reports are accurate.
• COMPUTER: Advanced computer skills are useful as an Accounts Receivable Specialist. Specialists will often work with accounting and bookkeeping computer programs to identify past due accounts and to report payments. Experience with current computer accounting programs QuickBooks online and Service Titan and reporting tools.  Will train on Service Titan 
• The right person for this role should have at least 3 years of experience in accounting. Competence in financial and bookkeeping software is necessary. An understanding of current accounting trends is a plus. Expert-Level knowledge of spreadsheets is crucial, and experience with word processing tools is essential for generating and writing reports for record-keeping and presentations. Since the candidate will be working with entries, experience with general ledgers is a must. Other desirable skills and experience include budget creation and finance management
