    Your initial pay will depend on your experience and education level. But as you develop your skills in managing a store and providing exceptional customer service, your salary, at the Assistant Manager level, will range from $9 to $14 an hour plus a partial share of the monthly bonuses based on 20% of net store sales.

    If employed, you will begin a 90 day in-store training program that contains 3 levels (in-shop/driver, PIC (person in charge), and MIT levels). After you complete each training phase, your salary will be increased to reflect your new skill set. If all 3 levels of training are achieved, you will be eligible to attend a 2 week fully paid (expenses and salary included) training program at the corporate offices in Champaign, IL.

    Following successful completion of the school, you will become an Assistant Store Manager who will enjoy the salary described above, a generous profit-sharing bonus plan, paid time off, additional training, growth potential and a stable management chain. The Assistant Manager will operate and lead shifts when the General Manager is not on duty. All managers are responsible for the effective execution of fast, accurate orders and exceptional customer service.

    Our organization has 3 locations. Therefore, promotions to the General Manager position will come probably occur as soon as you demonstrate your ability to manage and successfully run your own store. Salaries for this position range from $12 to $16 per hour plus a full share of monthly bonuses based on 20% of your individual net store sales. Tenure General Managers could also earn store ownership and shares in Freaky Fast 1. Inc.

    Duties and Responsibilities:

    Manages a staff of approximately 3 to 50 employees. Assigns, oversees, and evaluates work. Recommends promotion, transfer, or termination of employees based on performance.

    Ensure that every customer receives world-class customer service.

    Provides on-the-job training for new employees.

    Delegates and is responsible for the ordering, receipt, storage and issuing of all food, labor, equipment, cleaning, and paper supplies for the unit to ensure a minimum loss from waste or theft.

    Assists in the supervision of the preparation, sales, and service of food.

    Forecasts food items. Estimates what amount of each food item will be consumed per shift.

    Supervises food preparation and service operations while on duty. Assists in shoppers during rush periods to ensure the maintenance of restaurant efficiency.

    Assists in shoppers in greeting customers, taking orders, using the cash register, assembling order and checking for completeness and correctness.

    Route deliveries and serve drivers to maximize delivery business and speed.

    Completes daily food preparation (opening procedures, meat and vegetable slicing, bread production).

    Completes Closing Procedures.

    Executes systems and procedures with 100% integrity and completeness.

    Perform all duties of in shoppers and Drivers.

    Completes daily and weekly paperwork.

    Responsible for 100% of the cash drawers at all times during the shift.

    Receives and stores product.

    Audits previous shift’s systems and procedures for 100% integrity and completeness.

    Completes preventive maintenance and upkeep on store’s equipment and supplies.

    Performs other related duties as required.

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

    Must be able to read and write and communicate in English.

    Position requires bending, reaching, stooping, climbing, repetitive motions, cognitive skills, standing and moving about the unit the entire workday.

    Must be able to lift 50 pounds.

    Must be at least 18 years of age, have a valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, current automobile insurance, and a clean driving record.

    Must have the stamina to work a minimum of 50-60 hours a week.

    Special Requirements:

    Willing to work overtime, holidays, weekends as business dictates.

    Ability to establish priorities, work independently, and proceed with objectives with minimal supervision.

    Ability to handle and resolve customer threats and issues.

    Ability to handle and resolve employee issues.

    Skills to use a personal computer and various software packages (Word/Excel).

    Ability to handle stress and high-volume operations.
