    Type (Onsite or Remote): Mostly remote, but sometimes may need to travel to the below location if needed.

    Job Summary:

    We are looking for an experienced JIRA Administrator responsible for managing, configuring, and maintaining the Atlassian JIRA platform (Cloud/Server/DC), Understanding of Jira Plugin Zephyr, supporting project teams, ensuring system stability, and enabling process optimization across the organization.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Administer, configure, and maintain Atlassian JIRA Software & JIRA Service Managements.
    • Customize workflows, permission schemes, screen schemes, custom fields, issue types, and notification schemes.
    • Integrate JIRA with other tools (Slack, GitHub, Bitbucket, AWS Cloud, ServiceNow, etc.).
    • Create dashboards, reports, filters, and automate processes using JIRA Automation Rules.
    • Manage user access, security roles, and permission audits.
    • Support Agile practices — Scrum, Kanban board configurations, Sprint management.
    • Perform routine platform maintenance, upgrades, and backups.
    • Collaborate with DevOps, IT, and Product teams for troubleshooting and operational support.
    • Cross team collaboration & manages project allocations
    • Conduct user training, best practices enablement, and documentation.
    • Participate in license management, budgeting, and vendor coordination for Atlassian products.
  • Qualifications

    Qualifications

    Required Skills:

    • Strong hands-on experience with JIRA administration (Cloud/Server/Data Center).
    • Experience in managing Confluence, JIRA Service Management, and related Atlassian tools.
    • Good understanding of Agile methodologies, ITIL processes, and SDLC workflows.
    • Knowledge of REST API integration and scripting for automation (Python, Groovy, or similar).
    • Familiarity with Atlassian Marketplace plugins like ScriptRunner, Xray, BigPicture, etc.
    • Exposure to Cloud platforms (AWS/Azure/GCP) is a plus.
    • Strong problem-solving skills with excellent communication and documentation abilities.

    Certifications Preferred:

    • Atlassian Certified JIRA Administrator
    • ITIL Foundation Certification
    • Agile / Scrum Certification
