    Responsibilities:

    • Report directly to the VP of Operations and the Controller.
    • Aid in the implementation of new accounting policies, standards, and guidelines.
    • Provide accurate, timely, and relevant recording, reporting, and analysis of financial information.
    • Identify areas for improvement and implement improvements to processes.
    • Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner.
    • Enter credit charges for materials, credit card accounts.
    • Process vendor payments and record material invoices into accounts payable, and individual job files.

    Requirements:

    • Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
    • 3+ years of relevant experience in general accounting, preparation of financial statements, budgeting and forecasting.
    • Analytical thinker who can find ways to resolve discrepancies.
    • Ability to communicate professionally within all levels of the organization.
    • Self-starter, who can spearhead their day to day and help others along the way.
