Greenlife Healthcare Staffing is currently seeking a Neurologist to fill an opening with a multi-specialty practice located in the Bronx, New York. This role focuses on diagnosing, treating, and managing neurological disorders in a collaborative setting.

Qualifications:
- Education: MD degree from an accredited medical school.
- Licensure: Must have an active New York State medical license. Must be Board Certified or Board Eligible.
- Technical Skills: Proficient in performing and interpreting lumbar punctures, electroencephalography (EEG), electromyography (EMG), and nerve conduction velocity (NCV) tests. Skilled in neuroimaging interpretation.
- Soft Skills: Strong clinical judgment, excellent communication and interpersonal skills, empathy, attention to detail, and the ability to collaborate effectively with other medical professionals.
Key Responsibilities:
- Diagnose complex medical problems by referring to a patient’s history, examining them, and conducting neurological tests.
- Counsel patients on neurological disorders and their backgrounds.
- Order neurological tests and interpret the results of neuroimaging studies.
- Prescribe and/or administer treatment and medication.
- Monitor the behavioral and cognitive side effects of treatment and medication.
- Order supportive care services for patients.
- Participate in neuroscience research activities.
- Liaise with medical professionals in the community and hospitals.
- Keep up-to-date with neurological developments, treatments, and medication.
- Perform specialized treatments such as sleep disorders, neuroimmunology, neuro-oncology, behavioral neurology, and neurogenetics.
- Perform and interpret lumbar punctures, electroencephalography, electromyography, and nerve conduction velocity tests.
