    Job Summary

    We are looking for an energetic and experienced Coach to join our team! The job coach supports individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (IDD) in obtaining and maintain competitive, integrated employment in the community. This role focuses on hands on training, skill development, and ongoing support to a job site to promote independence, confidence, and long-term success.

    Key Responsibilities:

    Provide on-site job coaching and training to individuals in community-based work settings

    Assist individual with learning job tasks through modeling, prompting, and positive guidance

    Support development of workplace skills such as communication, time management, problem solving and appropriate workplace behavior

    Ensure services align with each individual's Individual Service Plan (ISP) and employment goals

    Gradually reduce support as appropriate to encourage independence (fading techniques)

    Monitor job performance and provide constructive feedback and encouragement

    Communicate regularly with employers, families, and team members as appropriate

    Maintain accurate, timely documentation in compliance with DBHDD standards (progress notes, data tracking, etc.)

    Assist with job retention strategies, including addressing barriers and reinforcing strengths

    Promote dignity, respect, and person-centered support at all times

    Follow all DBHDD, CARF and company policies and procedures

    Qualifications:

    High school diploma or GED required (Associate's preferred, but not required)

    Expreience working with individuals with disabilities, special education, or human services preferred

    Knowledge of DBHDD standards and Supported Employment Services preferred

    Strong communication, patience, and teaching skills

    Ability to work independently in community settings
