About the Role:

Functional Training Services Inc is looking for a passionate and dedicated Job Coach to join our team in Columbus, OH! In this rewarding role, you'll make a direct impact by empowering individuals to build meaningful careers and achieve their professional goals. Must be open to working a varied schedule depending on the needs of the individuals you are serving; this can include evenings, weekends, and split-shifts. Shift differential is paid for evening and weekend times. COMPANY PAID benefits for the employee: medical, dental, vision, life. Responsibilities:

Provide one-on-one job coaching and support to clients in workplace settings

Develop individualized employment plans and vocational goals with clients

Assist clients with job readiness skills including resume writing, interview preparation, and workplace etiquette

Collaborate with employers to facilitate job placements and ensure client success on the job

Monitor client progress and document outcomes in accordance with program requirements

Provide on-site job training and support during client onboarding with new employers

Coordinate with case managers, families, and support teams to ensure holistic client care

Qualifications and Requirements:

Experience in job coaching, vocational rehabilitation, retail, food service or a related field

Strong interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to motivate and encourage clients

Understanding and ability to use laptops and programs such as Excel, Outlook, and Adobe

Ability to work independently in community and workplace environments

Valid driver's license and reliable transportation required

Experience working with individuals with disabilities or barriers to employment preferred

High school diploma required; associate's or bachelor's degree in human services, psychology, or related field preferred

Must be able to pass a background check, driving record check, and drug screen.
