  • Responsibilities

    The Controller will be responsible for overseeing all financial and accounting activities within the company. This role includes managing the day-to-day operations of the finance department, ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting, and supporting strategic planning and decision-making processes. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in finance and accounting, excellent leadership skills, and experience in the digital advertising industry.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • - Oversee all accounting operations including Billing, A/R, A/P, GL, Cost Accounting, and Revenue Recognition.
      • Manage the preparation and publication of timely monthly financial statements.
      • Coordinate and direct the preparation of the budget and financial forecasts and report variances.
      • Prepare and publish monthly financial statements and other required reports.
      • Ensure quality control over financial transactions and financial reporting.
      • Manage and comply with local, state, and federal government reporting requirements and tax filings.
      • Develop and document business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls.
      • Lead and develop a team of finance and accounting professionals.
      • Provide training, mentorship, and performance evaluations to the finance team.
      • Promote a culture of high performance and continuous improvement.
      • Assist in the development and implementation of strategic business plans.
      • Provide financial insights and recommendations to the executive team to support strategic decision-making.
      • Participate in the development of the company's plans and programs as a strategic partner.
      • Streamline and automate financial processes to improve efficiency.
      • Evaluate accounting and internal control systems and implement enhancements as needed.
      • Manage the annual audit process and liaise with external auditors.

    Qualifications:

    • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field; CPA or CMA certification preferred.
    • Minimum of 7-10 years of progressive accounting experience, including 3+ years in a managerial role.
    • Experience in the digital advertising or technology industry is highly desirable.
    • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements.
    • Proficient in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite) and MS Office Suite, particularly Excel.
    • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail.
    • Strong leadership and communication skills.
    • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple priorities.

    Salary info:

    $57.69 - $86.54 / hr
