Job Impulse has a Material Planner opportunity at a manufacturing company located in Lake Orion, MI!

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

- Completing quotes, organizing, scanning, and filing the quotations

- Returning finished quotations to customers

- Converting estimated manufacturing hours provided by the General and Divisional Managers into a cost structure based on a per hour run rate for quoting.

- Responsible for raw material pricing

- Review and approve all incoming orders for accuracy such as blueprint revisions, revised pricing.

- Interact with other Sales Associates and Customers

- Maintain customer pricing, terms, and conditions.

- Develop rapport and relationships with customers

- Resolve and follow up on complex customer issues.

- Provide weekly reports and documentation to management on important customer issues.

- Assist management with customer analysis when needed.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 3-5 years of customer service experience in a manufacturing setting

• Mathematical and analytical skills; must be able to read blueprints.

• Knowledge of E2 Shoptech operating software a plus

• Proficient with Microsoft Office Word, Excel

• Proven problem-solving skills and the ability to complete various tasks when given.

- Excellent communication skills (oral and written), ability to work at an individual and team level

Salary info:

$20 - $25 / hr
