Job Impulse, Inc. has an immediate opening for aBatcherin Spartanburg. Our client is a fragrance company. You must be able to work in a high fragrant environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES OF A BATCHER:

**• Ability to stand for an entire shift

• Ensure established housekeeping standards are met in work area

• Ability to drive forklift and maintain an active forklift license with training

• Ensure a safe working environment by following safety procedures

• Ability to communicate in a positive manner

• Ability to follow specific instructions correctly

• Must be flexible in terms of duties, overtime, etc…

• Must be able to consistently lift up to 40 lbs.

• Ability to push/pull up to 400 lbs.

• Must be comfortable with basic computer functions including, but not limited to, Microsoft Word, and Microsoft Excel.

• Must be able to score an 80 or above on the Compounding/Batcher test in order to be considered

JOB REQUIREMENTS OF A BATCHER:• INITIATE COMPLETION OF DESIGNATED PRODUCTION SCHEDULE AS ASSIGNED BY SUPERVISOR• IDENTIFY AND LOCATE MATERIALS NEEDED TO COMPLETE AN ASSIGNED WORK ORDER• ACCURATELY FILL AND RECORD THE MATERIALS USED TO FINISH A WORK ORDER• FOLLOW CLEANING PROCEDURES NECESSARY TO MAINTAIN FRAGRANCE CONSISTENCY• COMPLETE PAPERWORK REQUIRED FOR SUBMISSION OF FRAGRANCE/VERMICULITE SAMPLES• NOTIFY SUPERVISOR OF ANY ISSUES RELATED TO COMPLETION OF A WORK ORDER• USE OF AS400 TO BACKFLUSH AND INITIATE MATERIAL MOVEMENT THROUGHOUT MIXING/COMPOUNDING • DAILY CANDLE PULLS FOR THE CANDLE DEPARTMENT• SUPPORT DAY TO DAY TASKS OF MIXING/COMPOUNDING TEAM LEADER AS REQUIRED• FULFILL ANY OTHER RESPONSIBILITIES GIVEN BY SUPERVISOR
