POSITION: Qualified Self-Insured (QSI) Contractor – Workers’ Compensation

FULLTIME

LOCATION: Fully Remote 

SCHEDULE: Monday-Friday 

PAY RANGE: $45-75/hr.

JOB DESCRIPTION: 

We are seeking an experienced QSI Contractor to support our clients Workers’ Compensation program for self-insured entities. This role involves managing state filings, ensuring regulatory compliance, and coordinating with internal and external stakeholders across multiple jurisdictions.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES: 

• Prepare and submit Qualified Self-Insured filings to state agencies.
• Ensure compliance with state-specific self-insurance regulations.
• Collaborate with claims administrators, legal counsel, and risk management teams.
• Track renewal deadlines and reporting obligations.
• Assist with state audits and regulatory inquiries.
• Maintain accurate records of filings and compliance documentation.
• Advise on monopolistic state requirements and coordinate coverage through state funds.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS: 

• 3–5 years of Workers’ Compensation experience, preferably with self-insured programs.
• Familiarity with regulations in states like CA, TX, OH, WA, WY, ND etc.
• Strong understanding of monopolistic state systems and stop-gap coverage.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and claims management platforms.
• Adjuster license in applicable states preferred.

WORKING CONDITIONS:

• May on occasion be exposed to loud sounds and distracting noise levels, such as from office equipment.
• The ability to lift up to 30lbs
• Use of computers and technology
