    Job Description

    Minimum of 5 years of previous computer network/server installation and maintenance experience. Access Control and CCTV Experience, Identity Management software

    Responsibilities may include installation, configuration, and support a local area network (LAN), wide area network (WAN), and Internet system or a segment of a network system related to electronic security. May maintain network hardware and software. May monitor network to ensure network availability to all system users and performs necessary maintenance to support network availability on assigned projects. Responsibilities may also include providing our customers with custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation regarding Electronic Security Systems (ESS). Typically handles projects that vary in complexity. Installs, configures and supports a variety of network systems and equipment for assigned Security, Financial Banking, Healthcare Technologies and/or Building Automation projects including routine and non-routing projects. Works directly with client IT departments to ensure all scope and interface is planned and implemented. Provides IT/networking consulting support for clients as necessary. Monitors and reviews system log reports and network documentation. Assists Project Specialists with IT/networking technical issues on projects. Assists Service Specialists with IT/networking service calls. Assists the sales team with developing proposals and designs for sales proposals. Provides more complex technical advice as required for system planning. May assist with internal office network, IT and laptop support. May be responsible for building, maintaining and providing security on routers and firewalls. Consults with engineering personnel to resolve unusual problems in system operation, maintenance. Reviews and identifies new products & tools to improve productivity and efficiencies. Executes many of the technical aspects of multiple projects with varying timelines and budgets including, programming, graphics development, start-up, certification testing, customer training, close-out documentation, and on-going technical support etc. May work with other CTCs or customers to provide Strategic Account support. May provide custom systems integrations, detailed systems upgrade planning and execution, systems audits and consultation, and/or database management and manipulation. Identifies potential project risks, communicates to appropriate parties and assist in the development and implementation of strategies to minimize impact and to control deviations from estimated costs and project deadlines. Works closely with the Project Manager and/or Operations Manager and assists in the overall coordination of specific projects; makes recommendations regarding quality of work and potential changes in scope, and identifies ways to continuously improve customer satisfaction. May carry out in-depth analysis of plans, functional specifications and contracts in order to determine, perform and advise on overall project requirements; may manage all routine aspects of project including estimating, design, tracking, start up and planning phases. May prepare and/or review formal submittal booklets, containing schematics, and technical literature as necessary to support assigned tasks/jobs. May provide on site assistance with start up, check out and turnover processes. May provide diagnostic and troubleshooting support for possible problems including debugging software, installation problems etc. to existing customers, sales team and service department as necessary. May perform Systems upgrades on large, Enterprise Class systems including acting as the team lead when additional manpower is necessary. Performs other duties and responsibilities as requested or required.

    Must have valid drivers license with a clean driving record.
