JOBTRACKS IS LOOKING FOR A TITLE INSURANCE CURATIVE AND CLEARANCE SPECIALIST TO FILL A TITLE CURATIVE AND CLEARANCE INSURANCE OPENING AT A TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY. THIS POSITION IS FULLY REMOTE AND ALL TITLE INSURANCE CURATIVE AND CLEARANCE SPECIALIST WILL BE DONE AS A WORK FROM HOME BASIS. THIS TITLE INSURANCE CURATIVE AND CLEARANCE SPECIALIST POSITION REQUIRES THE FOLLOWING TITLE INSURANCE SKILLS: REQUIREMENTS OF THE TITLE INSURANCE CURATIVE AND CLEARANCE SPECIALIST JOB:

• The Title Insurance Curative and Clearance Specialist will obtain payoffs for mortgages and liens on title for final clearance

• Obtain mortgage and lien releases to clear title for clearance

• Obtain subordination agreements at clients request

• Clear judgement, bankruptcy, and Patriot Act hits based on borrower/seller information provided by client and/or borrower/seller representation

• Confirm tax information provided by tax offices Verify vesting on title matches borrower and/or seller info as anticipated by client and borrowers and/or sellers

• Review title to ensure all curative issues are identified and resolved

• Confirming legal vesting and perform curative solutions as needed

• Title Insurance Curative and Clearance Specialist will prepare title commitment package documentation based on customer-specific preferences

• Attaching additional documentation to title commitment package as necessary, including Plat maps and 24-month Chains of Title

• Ordering search packages as needed for final clearance

• Receiving and attaching taxes to files as needed to document curative resolution

• Reviewing commitment package documents for accuracy

• Title Insurance Curative and Clearance Specialistwill performsubordinations as needed

• Reviewing for Clear-to-Close status for final clearance

• Title Insurance Curative and Clearance Specialist performsadditional curative work as needed

• Title Insurance Curative and Clearance Specialist performsadditional clearance work as needed

• Order payoffs and reviewing payoff judgements as needed for final clearance

• Reviewing second mortgages on titles as needed as needed for final clearance

• Completing Deed Order forms as needed perform curative as needed

• Checking for city-level recording requirements as needed for final clearance

• A Title Insurance Curative and Clearance Specialist will anticipatecustomer needs and resolvecustomer escalations in a professional, efficient manner

SALARY AND BENEFITS OF THE TITLE INSURANCE CURATIVE AND CLEARANCE SPECIALIST POSITION:

• SALARY $55,000 - 75,000 DEPENDING ON EXPERIENCE

SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE OF THE TITLE INSURANCE CURATIVE AND CLEARANCE SPECIALIST POSITION:

• CUSTOMER SERVICE-ORIENTED AND PROFESSIONAL. PROVEN TENURE PREFERRED.
• 1+ year Title Insurance Curative and Clearance Specialistwork
• Title Only/Sub Escrow product experience
• Excellent phone, email, and face-to-face communication skills
• Passion for multitasking and curative and clearance work
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, metrics-driven work environment.
• Extreme attention to detail and organizational skills for curative and clearance work
• Knowledge of title insurance, regulatory guidelines, and legal documents is required.
• Comfortable with constant change and process improvement
• Proven customer service experience (High CSAT scores only)
• Demonstrated ability to work as a team player in a fast-paced environment.
• Proficient computer skills
• Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within the escrow/title industry field as well as curative and clearance work experience
• Experience using the MS Office suite and industry software.
• Demonstrated ability to influence outcomes through effective written and oral communication skills
