SUMMARY: The Senior Application Developer is responsible for developing, enhancing, and maintaining the Digital Banking platform, including supporting and integrating 3 rd party and internal systems. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Works closely with cross functional project team members to understand and contribute to the technical requirements of the Digital Banking platform and related systems, including preparing technical scope documentation, work effort estimates, and development/deployment task breakdowns
• Builds and maintains full stack web and mobile applications and microservices
• Builds and maintains integrations to relevant third-party systems as needed through Webservice, Single Sign On (SSO) and/or API
• Manages and adheres to stringent control standards and error avoidance methodologies including proper use of development and testing through SDLC, including unit testing, peer code reviews, and proper code promotion
• Works closely with Information Technology to build and install modifications and enhancements, ensuring seamless integration with the back-end Core database and other related systems
• Manages the health of our web and mobile platforms to ensure 99%+ uptime, by working closely with internal teams and 3 rd party vendors to troubleshoot and remediate system and code related issues
• Works closely with Digital Banking, Contact Center, IT, Core Programming, Marketing, and Compliance elase projects and ensure applications offer the best member experience elase, while managing strict operational, regulatory, and security controls dealing with data privacy
• Ensures quality of all work, including testing functionality with various account and member scenarios, different browsers, mobile devices, and varying UI resolutions
• Demonstrates technical leadership by staying current with evolving Digital Technology and Fintech trends through independent research, vendor conferences,and collaboration with other developers. Includes, but not limited, to joint architectural design sessions, and innovation sessions across other departments, credit unions, and industry peers
• Completes all required compliance training as assigned
• Performs other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Education: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related field is required
• 2 year equivalent experience can substitute for every one year of education
• Experience:Aminimum of 5 years of experience in professional web and mobile application development
• Requires experience in .NET or Java, with a focus on mobile development
• Must also have extensive experience with industry standard web and application design, hands-on knowledge of current wireframing, web markup, and scripting languages, dynamic or active web content, site architecture, database management, and application performance and security optimization
• Experience setting up development environments, rapidly learning new technologies, ability to apply a business model to a web and mobile application design, familiarity with internet protocols, server configuration, and DNS are all required
• Familiarity with Subversion & TFS for version control and development is a plus
• Experience working in an Agile SCRUM or PMI project environment is also a plus
• Experience working in regulated financial, banking, and credit union industries is a plus
• Experience working with Symitar or other credit union Core systems is highly desired

• Team Foundation Server 2015+
• Preferred but not required:
• Drupal CMS and PHP 7+
• Adobe Photoshop, Illustrator, Balsamiq, or other design wireframes and
• prototype comps
• Choco, MSI, or other automated deployment methods
• SharePoint 2010-2013 Designer, SharePoint Online (Office 365)
• Static and Dynamic code scanning tools
