Job Description
WE ARE LOOKING FOR A SETTLEMENT PROCESSOR/ TITLE PROCESSOR TO FILL AN OPENING AT A TITLE INSURANCE COMPANY.
- As the Processor, the primary duty is to communicate with the lenders, real estate offices and service companies to obtain the information needed to proceed to the settlement table. Schedule closings and assist closers with possible changes and continuations at closing, order continuations & updated municipals searches on scheduled closings, post-closing breakdown on files, prepare closer packages to include policies, invoice, title report, affidavits & survey and assist in other areas of operation, as needed
REQUIREMENTS
- Must have high school diploma or equivalent experience
- Title Agent License or Notary License A PLUS but not required
- Minimum of 1 year of title processing experience
- Knowledge with VA, MD or CD transactions preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications
- Detail-oriented, strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple actions at once;
- Flexibility to re-prioritize based on direction of management
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as escrow, closing, title, operating and procedure manuals
- Strong communication skills to work effectively with customers and our team of sales, escrow, and title employees
- Strong written and oral communication and customer service skills required
- Self-motivated to work in a fast-paced
