Job Description

WE ARE LOOKING FOR AN ACCOUNTING CLERK TO WORK IN A BUSY COMPANY IN IRVINE YOU WILL BE RESPONSIBLE FOR THE VALIDATION AND DISTRIBUTION OF COMPANY ESCROW PAYMENTS. ALSO, WILL COORDINATE INCOMING AND OUTGOING CHECKS FOR THE DISBURSEMENT/FUNDING DEPARTMENT.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

• PREPARE ALL OUTGOING ESCROW CHECKS SENT FROM THE COMPANY.
• CONFIRM PAYEE NAME AND ADDRESS MATCH FUNDING DOCUMENTS.
• CONFIRM ALL CHECKS HAVE A VALID SIGNATURE BEFORE DISTRIBUTION.
• CREATE FEDEX LABELS OR ADDRESS ENVELOPES WITH THE APPROPRIATE RECIPIENT ADDRESS.
• PREPARE AND UPDATE A DAILY LOG OF ALL SENT CHECKS FOR TRACKING PURPOSES.
• MAINTAIN FEDEX AND UPS SHIPPING SUPPLIES.
